NOW OPEN
Young people are safer, healthier, and more able to be themselves when their voices directly shape the communities and programs built to support them. We are opening Youth Advisory positions on the YES Institute Board of Directors, open to people ages 18 to 24 who want a say in how YES Institute fulfills its vision and mission.
Youth Advisors serve a one-year term and participate in four board meetings per year, sharing the lived experiences of their peers and speaking to emerging concerns about well-being and belonging among young people today. Advisors also receive ongoing mentorship in communication and leadership development throughout their term.
Most sessions are conducted via Zoom, and scheduling accommodates school, work, and other responsibilities. Any related travel is reimbursed.
