Our internship program is conducted via a hybrid format – some in-person meetings and events at our Miami office, and virtual project work through Zoom is also available. We are interested in being flexible around your school/work schedule, while still providing meaningful experiences and career learning development opportunities. Students can earn service learning or internship hours that can count towards your academic undergrad and graduate class requirements. You are welcome to complete the Intern Application at any time.

Please apply as soon as possible, so you can be considered, and participate in our required Communication Solutions™ or Communication Toolbox training and orientation.
- Social Media Strategist – Create videos and posts for all of our Social Media Channels.
- Curriculum Research & Development – We are constantly looking at the content of courses so that we are on the cutting edge of knowledge on gender and orientation.
- Administration & Operations – You will be developed in the “behind the scenes” structures needed to support everything that happens in our work.
- Program Delivery & Logistics – Assist our administrative staff, and our facilitators in the community to deliver our work.
- Marketing, Branding, and Press Relations – Assist with developing our marketing, and press release strategy, branding, and communications.

Internship Requirements
All interns must complete either our Communication Solutions™ (CS) or our Communication Toolbox (CT). You must have either completed or are registered to complete CS or CT before beginning your YES Institute internship.
