What makes a Leader a Leader?

Our Leadership in Action™ (LIA) course gives teams the tools to enhance their individual leadership and work more effectively together as a group. Through inquiry and small group discussions, professionals are able to discover powerful pathways to collaboration and effectiveness, even in moments of disagreement.

Empowered Youth lead the Way: Expressing the Goodness

When YES Institute was founded in 1996, statistics reported that 1 in 3 LGBTQ youth considered self-harm if they were rejected based on their orientation. The latest data from the Trevor Project revealed that: “LGBTQ youth who found their school to be LGBTQ-affirming reported lower rates of attempting suicide.”

Building Bridges in a Polarized World

YES Institute’s communication model provides an alternative to the “I am right, and I will prove you are wrong” context and asks, “Is it possible to create something new together? What could it look like to hear one another, feel heard in the process, see one another, and be seen for your authentic self?”

Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Training that Works

YES Institute receives inquiries from companies interested in creating inclusive and welcoming professional environments, especially through the lens of gender, orientation, and culture. The Florida Chapter of the National Diversity Council recently requested a dialogue to bring awareness on gender and orientation to employees in various organizations.

What has patients feel welcome?

Our team is grateful to the many universities, colleges, and medical facilities that continue to reach out to provide the best care to their community and patients. When clinicians create an environment that is welcoming, it shifts the way all people feel about their own physical and mental well-being.

You can count on respect …

Our team is grateful to receive requests from companies who recognize challenges as opportunities for expansion. Recently we were invited by Kaufman Rossin to facilitate an open discussion on gender and orientation in their workplace.

Hospitality that Authentically Welcomes All

Over the past couple of years, YES Institute has been requested to lead diversity, equity, inclusivity, and accessibility training for the staff of many different organizations, with the purpose of strengthening internal workplace culture, deepening employee relationships, and increasing customer satisfaction.

A Weekend of Discovery

Over the course of the Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend, attendees create a sense of community with one another as they bravely and vulnerably open up about themselves and confront aspects of their own communication that may be holding them back.
