Claire Tolman, MS Ed.

Claire is a passionate gender and orientation facilitator with a background in sexual health education. Prior to joining the team at YES Institute, Claire worked as a Community Educator at Response for Teens in Chicago, Illinois, where she created and taught lessons in sexual health, body image, gender, addiction, mental health, and more to students ages 10 to 22. She received her undergraduate degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles and her Masters in Community and Social Change from the University of Miami. While working toward her Masters degree, Claire worked at the Sandler Center for Alcohol and Other Drug Education as a supervisor and mentor to undergraduate peer educators. Through these experiences, Claire discovered her passion for empowering young people to embrace, celebrate, and nurture their unique selves.
