YES Institute is excited to share our 2023 Impact & Outcomes Annual Highlights.
YES Institute focuses on the root causes of rejection that can lead to self-harm. We ask, “What message is having youth feel they don’t belong or are not loved?”
In addition to offering educational courses, we facilitate connections to parent and family peer support groups and appropriate mental health and medical provider referrals. In 2022, YES Institute received 75 requests seeking support. In 2023, the number of requests doubled to 153. We also partnered with community-based organizations in tandem with family therapists to assist their clients with resources. One therapist called our office seeking medical referrals for their client, saying, “You are all a Godsend. It’s hard to find organizations like yours in Florida.”
YES Institute conducted after-school youth programming workshops across South Florida and in-classroom sessions for students and faculty at a private school in New York City. A majority of our after-school program requests were for education on resilience, empowerment, and community.

Our medical continuing education training for nurses, healthcare students, and hospital leadership continues, highlighting patient-centered care guidelines and ways to reduce health disparities and barriers to care.

YES Institute provides workshops to corporate and business clients as a way to connect with parents during their workday. We proudly continue our partnership with the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, working to ensure a welcoming and inclusive visitor experience for diverse families and guests in the Miami region.
Numerous faith communities also engaged with YES Institute to provide interactive dialogues with their churches, synagogues, and congregations.
In total, YES Institute directly impacted more than 5,500 people in 170 educational sessions throughout the community and served an additional 150 families and individuals seeking resources, knowledge, and community support in 2023.
