Expanding Services in South Florida
Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for children ages 10-19. South Florida students identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender are 4x higher than their heterosexual peers to attempt suicide. The rates are even higher for youth of color. How do we address these issues?
Looking Ahead
The last conversation of the year was brave and powerful. Campbell Drive K-8 Center in Homestead, FL invited us to speak to over 200 students on the topics of gender and bullying. What a wonderful way to close out a successful year!
