My husband Frank Foote and I are both psychologists, and we work with patients around the topics of gender and orientation. When we found YES Institute, out came our support and our checkbook! Their mission to prevent youth suicide called out to us.
Participating in YES Institute’s curriculum is, without a doubt, the most rewarding, fun, emotional, educational experience we have had in a long time. Given that we’ve been practicing in the field of psychology for over 30 years each, we’ve been to hundreds of workshops over the years. Some are good, some not so much, some you wonder why you went, and some are so excellent that you don’t want to leave. This latter experience characterizes our time at YES Institute.
We have incorporated things we learned into our current way of providing psychotherapy to all our patients. We have found a new home in YES Institute!
