We invite you to join our Kiaora Society by donating $1,000 or more per year. At whatever level you contribute, your donation will make a tremendous difference for our youth. Members receive notifications of the most up-to-date developments at YES Institute, and are invited to exclusive celebrations throughout the year. Rather than remaining strangers who simply drop off checks, we encourage our Kiaora members to be part of our work by participating in presentations and trainings throughout the community. Members are welcome to experience all YES courses free of charge. Many members volunteer on YES’ Speakers Bureau, using their voices to impact change where youth are most vulnerable.
To contribute, visit our Donation page, or call Eva at 786-301-3940.
When YES was just an idea, Ed McAmis believed in our vision enough to invest in our work. To honor Ed as our first private contributor, we named our donor society after the street on which he lives. Coincidentally, “Kia ora” is a Maori word that means “welcome,” making our chosen name uniquely fitting. Since Ed’s initial gift, the Kiaora Society has grown to include committed supporters from all over the country. Thanks to members' incredible generosity and commitment to making the world safer for youth, we are not confined by the financial priorities of foundations. Instead, we have become leaders on the cutting edge of innovative service and programs.
“I support the work of YES Institute financially, and I do it with gladness. Its importance in the lives of our youth can hardly be overestimated.” - Ed McAmis, Kiaora member
